All the help I see is go to this or that on desktop and run whatever...I can't GET to my desktop. And I ended up on the blank screen again.So the problem was not installing anything, but simply restarting.I was surprised, and still had the feeling that Windows was there, although I Installed Windows 8.1 and tried different video card drivers.
