Ask ! No one should have to take all these extra steps just to sign in to their wireless network. Then the windows wifi manager gives me the message "Can't connect to this network".I've managed to resolve it by rebooting the rooter (as suggested above). It would occasionally drop wifi, but usually I could just reset the wireless adapter or unplug and refresh my router and everything would go back to normal. I have a Lenovo T520 and installed Windows 8 little over two months ago. Right click My Computer > Manage > (UAC prompt appears) > Services & applications > Services Check that Wired Autoconfig is disabled (or enabled it when you want to use Can't Connect To This Network Android but thank you RobinHood Worked for me!
