Just copy the contents of the old start menu from C:\Windows.old\Users\All Users\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs to C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs as apparently only the to programs were copied during the installation, but the missing ones I heard if you check "don't show in list", the app won't re-appear.
