Microsoft has made it a rough rode for those that want to stay with Win7 Pro. I have tried and tried so many “fixes” and nothing worked; only you’re well detailed and to the point instructions got the windows update program running perfectly! Install missing files and Reboot if prompted. Once the next file is downloadedDouble check that all your firewalls continue to be turned completely off. ( Mine turned back on after one update, or i forgot to completely turn I have let it run overnight and still nothing.
