Windows 8.1 Will Not Install WSUS Updates
There's not much point in my installing a new WSUS server until this is available, and my current server is Windows 2008 R2. At the request of the users, i have been running with the below GP configuration so WSUS is less intrusive, and wont shut down their machines automatically etc. In addition, go ahead and reference the link below. I am in the same boat as Harry for multiple clients that have WSUS on srv 2k8 R2. Additional information about Error Code 0x80070020 is as follows: Dec Error Code: -2147024864 Error String: STIERR_SHARING_VIOLATION Error Description: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another Could this possibly be related to the KB3095113 hotfix installation? The status in WSUS just aren't updating.

If your WSUS database is a SQL AG, the manual steps to complete installation of KB3159706 will fail. Kb2938439 We are prioritizing improvements to WSUS that will ideally eliminate all manual effort in future updates.
KB3148812 was not installed, however KB3159706 was. Kb2966870 You will have to to connect to an un-metered connection or public Wi-Fi connection to install the update. In addition, go ahead and reference the link below. Really don't relish the thought of reinstalling WSUS.
