I've rebooted, redownloaded, relaunched, etc. It fixes the problem in most cases. If you load the HP printer installation CD-ROM in the computer then click on the browse and search for the correct file, bobs your uncle you are able to load the Will report back when installed and tested .....Have installed software update for 4800 series- all works fine - so far no request to re-install. A program required for this install to complete could not be run.
Run any critical Windows Updates to see if that will help resolve this issue.I suggest you try uninstalling the HP Support Assistant. I have tried to uninstall, reinstall, and it keeps telling me the .msi file is missing and i get Error 1639, Error 1714 and Error 1603. So I doubt Flash is the reason in all cases.
