It was working fine previously but today it gave me the following error: An unknown error has occurred. The attempted sent messages do not appear in the sent or outbox folders, but when I close the program I am asked if I want to send the unsent items. I want to automatically transfered all the email sent from a particular domain to my created folder in window live mail. Have Windows 7 and have checked the adavnce settings and no ticks in secure server etc. Result: I was able to send mail again. As a test, try to telnet over port 25 to smtp.talktalk.net.
Along with a truble stoting steps that may help you out.
