Windows Mail Cannot Locate My Doc Attachment
You just saved me from crying over my computer! If I Save the file and then try to open it I get the message something like Word cannot open the file. The attachment showed in the window at the top, but when I clicked it to open or save, I got the open/save pop up, which opened Word, but then an error I found what I needed and I did in fact jump in the air and thank God. I searched for over an hour on the internet for help - which included one set of advice telling me to reopen from my email to see if I could find When I click open or save, it opens Word then tells me it can't find the file.

I'm about to lose my mind over this. Doesn't help to associate extension. That is when I found this information and wa-la! Double click at the e-mail that is supposed to contain an attachment.
If you click Open , the attachment will be opened by a program assigned to open such an attachment...... INC 19". I don't often attach word docs to emails but today I needed to. Word processing files Now, in the case of .doc and docx, those are files created by Microsoft Office Word. Incidentally, I had to backtrack to locate my file as it wasn't in the Content.IE5 folder but hiding under a rock elsewhere within the Temporary Internet Files.
