I've also tried running all different BIOS versions with only the last two versions actually improving the situation at all (the 2nd to last version to date works best on my Now I can only do hard-reboots and my screen is completely blank. this what I have. Should take all of about 2 minutes. When you do something that accesses the hard drive the IO call blocks for a few seconds.Fix: Extend time before Vista puts hard drive to sleep in Control Panel -> System this content personally i just think u all got bad harddrives or bad ram or the wrong ram timings those are usually the main culprits here.
